About Us
Welcome to Pet Nutrition, your trusted source for science-backed, veterinarian-approved pet health and nutrition information. We are dedicated to empowering pet owners with accurate, up-to-date, and practical guidance to help their dogs, cats, and other companion animals live longer, healthier, and more vibrant lives.
Our Mission & Vision
Our mission is to bridge the gap between veterinary science and everyday pet care by translating complex nutritional research into clear, actionable advice. We envision a world where every pet receives optimal, individualized nutrition — supported by evidence, compassion, and integrity.
Who We Are
Founded in 2018, Pet Nutrition is led by a multidisciplinary team of board-certified veterinary nutritionists, animal scientists, certified pet food specialists, and experienced veterinary technicians. All content is rigorously reviewed by our Scientific Advisory Board — composed of DVMs and PhDs with active clinical and research roles in companion animal nutrition.
Core Values
- Evidence-First: Every recommendation is grounded in peer-reviewed research and clinical experience — never trends or anecdote.
- Transparency: We disclose funding sources, potential conflicts of interest, and clearly distinguish between sponsored content and editorially independent guidance.
- Pet-Centered Advocacy: We prioritize animal welfare above all — supporting ethical sourcing, sustainable practices, and humane feeding standards.
- Community Empowerment: We believe informed pet owners are the best advocates for their pets’ health.
